SuperSat 3

SuperSat 3 Overview

SuperSat 3The SuperSat 3 is an elegantly curved, compact satellite speaker designed for use when very high-performance yet small size is desired. (It is also the ideal matching Surround/Rear speaker and on-wall Height channel speaker for any GoldenEar-based system.)  Four SuperSat 3s and one SuperSat 3C, combined with a ForceField 3 powered subwoofer, make up the superlative and award winningSuperCinema 3, a sub/sat 5.1 multichannel system.

As with all SuperSat models, there is both a vertical model and a horizontal ("C") model which is optimized specifically for center-channel, or any horizontal, applications. The SuperSat 3’s svelte, 2.7” deep, 12” tall cabinet is constructed from a rigid, non-resonant marble-powder infused polymer and is finished in a gorgeous piano-gloss black.

Every GoldenEar SuperSat speaker model takes advantage of the extraordinary GoldenEar High‐Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) design tweeter. The HVFR tweeter propagates sound waves and moves the air by squeezing it with its accordion‐like pleated diaphragm, rather than pushing it as conventional drivers do. The result is better impedance matching to the air in the room with greater control, smoother more extended response with lower distortion and dramatically improved dynamic range. Each SuperSat speaker model also utilizes GoldenEar’s ground‐breaking 4.5" cast-basket upper bass/midrange drivers, which incorporate our proprietary Multi-Vaned Phase Plug design (MVPP™) as well as our proprietary computer optimized cone topology, arranged in a D’Appolito array surrounding the HVFR tweeter.

The SuperSat 3 includes a stand for shelf mounting (shown, left); the SuperSat 3C includes an adjustable angling foot for ideal center channel positioning.  Both models incorporate a rear threaded insert as well as keyhole mount for wall mounting options. The Keyhole mount allows flat-on-the-wall mounting and the threaded insert can be used with our SuperSwivel universal bracket. Or, use the optional SuperStand 3 Floor Stand - note total height of speaker and floor stand is 46". Click here to read the Brochure.

SuperSat 50 Overview

SuperSat 50SuperSat 50 LifestyleThe SuperSat 50 is a slim, 27” long, 2.5”-deep speaker which is available in both a vertical version (on-wall or on optional Table/Shelf or Floor stand) as well as a horizontal, center-channel-optimized version, the SuperSat 50C. Its powerful and dynamic output capabilities make it the ideal center channel for a Triton based theater system, as well as a perfect choice to go alongside a wall- or shelf-mounted flat screen. Of course, the 2.5” depth makes it a perfect on-wall match for the new generation of super thin flat screens.

Its cabinet is constructed from piano-gloss-black-finished aerospace-grade aluminum and contains two GoldenEar 4.5” cast basket bass/midrange drivers with Multi-Vaned Phase Plug (MVPP) configured in a D’Appolito array, surrounding the High-Velocity Folded Ribbon tweeter. Two 4”x 7” quadratic planar low-frequency radiators complete the driver complement. Wall mounting is easily accomplished using the threaded inserts or keyhole mounts on the rear, or table top using the optional smoked-glass Table/Shelf Stand 50, or even floor standing using the optional SuperStand 50 Floor Stand - note total height of speaker and floor stand is 48". The horizontal SuperSat 50C center-channel version includes adjustable leveling feet allowing for multiple angles when shelf/table top mounting. Click here to read the Brochure.

SuperSat 60

SuperSat 60 Overview

SuperSat 60The SuperSat 60 and 60C (SuperSat 60 - left, shown on optional Table/Shelf stand) are larger, more powerful versions of our award-winning SuperSat 50 and 50C. They are designed to complement 60" and larger screens when used as left and right channels and mounted vertically next to them, as well as all screen sizes when used as a horizontal center channel or mounted on their optional stands. They provide a larger, more powerful, higher power-handling step-up from our SuperSat 50C when used as a center channel paired with any of our Triton Towers or with any of our other speakers including the SuperSat 50s.

The sleek, attractively sculpted cabinet follows the same design philosophy that won the SuperSat 50 the highly respected Resi Award as the industry’s best looking on-wall loudspeaker. It is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in gorgeous piano-gloss black. It contains four GoldenEar engineered 4.5" cast spiderleg-basket bass/midrange drivers with Multi-Vaned Phase-Plugs (MVPP) configured in a two-stage D’Appolito Array surrounding our signature High-Velocity Folded Ribbon high-frequency radiator. Two 4" x 7" quadratic planar low frequency radiators complete the driver complement, perfectly loading the bass/midrange drivers for open, boxless midrange and extended low-frequency response.

The SuperSat 60 and 60C’s very thin depth makes them perfect for wall mounting next to the latest super thin TVs. This is easily accomplished using the threaded inserts or keyhole mounts on the rear. Dual adjustable feet allow multiple angles when shelf-mounting the horizontal center-channel 60C. In addition, optional floor and tabletop stands are available for vertical mounting. Click here to read the Brochure.

ForceField Subwoofers Overview

ForceField Subwoofers The ForceField Subwoofers’ unique and attractive cabinet shape, with its non-parallel cabinet walls (the top is narrower than the bottom when viewed from the front), helps the ForceField subs achieve extraordinarily deep and tuneful bass that is ideal for music and movies. Their cutting-edge amplifier design employs state-of-the-art DSP control for frequency shaping so the subs produce accurate, consistent and musical bass performance.

Let's take a look at the ForceField subwoofers to see what makes them special. We'll start with two very common sub design concepts and then we'll delve into GoldenEar's unique and better solutions. Many of today's subs fall into either the ultra-compact high-output category, or the (larger) high performance, extended response, high-output category. These two design types tend to offer different performance benefits, the ultra compact having the ability to play extremely loud, but over a narrower bandwidth and the large subs having this high output plus more extended response.

GoldenEar's engineering team set out to accomplish the best of both worlds with the new ForceField subwoofers: small size, yet with the smooth & wide response of a larger sub. There's no sleight of hand, just great engineering - all ForceField subs share the same technologies, here is a list of their features. Read through these and then take a good demo disc into your GoldenEar dealer's sound room and listen for yourself.
  • Custom-designed high-output drivers with very large motor assemblies. These drivers handle massive power, have very long excursions, and have ultra-low distortion.
  • Rigid cabinets with non-parallel sides to minimize standing waves and distortion. The drivers are front firing in all of our subwoofers for optimal performance. The cabinets' possess a unique and understated shape and style that matches well with any décor.
  • The driver's response is enhanced with a carefully tuned, down-firing, quadratic-shaped passive radiator (no noisy ports on ForceField subs). The quadratic shape allows the radiators to use maximum surface area on the bottom of the cabinets and gets even greater output from the slot-loading that results from the subwoofers' interface with the floor (see next point).
  • The soft, energy-absorbing feet provided with every ForceField sub serve a number of functions. First, they hold the sub the correct distance off the floor so the passive radiator slot-loads with it for significantly increased output at the lowest frequencies. Second, the soft feet keep the sub from dancing around on the floor.
  • ForceField subwoofer amplifiers are designed in-house by GoldenEar engineering, so each is the perfect amp to power its specific subwoofer model. In addition the amps all have powerful DSP sections to optimize frequency response, minimize distortion and prevent damage from overdriving. These amplifiers are all low distortion and extraordinarily powerful (up to 1500 watts on the ForceField 5) for reproducing seriously high-output AND low bass.
  • ForceField subs all have speaker-level inputs and outputs (with a high pass crossover on the outputs) as well as a direct LFE input, too.

We realize there is a huge selection of subs on the market - but by incorporating the latest technology, and not a rehash of the last five years', we know ForceField subs offer a real value. There is nothing available at these price points that will play lower or louder, with less noise and distortion, than the ForceField subs. Our ForceField subs are almost as small as many of the ultra compact models, yet they outperform many of the big boys. Listen for yourself and be amazed! And these great subs start at just $499.

Finish on the subwoofers is an attractive matte black.

Invisa Series Overview

GoldenEar Invisa Series loudspeakers are engineered to deliver superb state-of-the-art sound quality from in-wall/in-ceiling speakers that are designed to blend perfectly with their surroundings and virtually disappear. GoldenEar’s Invisa line-up consists of the Invisa 525, Invisa 650 and SP 652 StereoPoint™ Single-point Stereo speaker, the Invisa Home Theater Reference (HTR) 7000 and the Invisa MPX. All five models incorporate a magnetically attached grill-covered/hidden flange construction that helps to make them virtually invisible.

A tremendous amount of work has gone into the acoustical engineering of the Invisa Series speakers in order to deliver the highest sound quality possible in an architectural format. All five models incorporate a High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) high-frequency radiator similar to the unit used in all of GoldenEar’s award-winning Towers, Bookshelf and Satellite speakers. The Invisa 525 and Invisa 650/652 utilize a one-piece driver/frame/flange construction in order to minimize their footprint. Solidly constructed of a marble-infused polymer, the unitized structure actually has the high-definition wide-dispersion driver constructed as an integral part. The Invisa HTR 7000 incorporates our Focus-Field™ Technology with a cast-basket 7" bass/midrange driver and HVFR™ tweeter that are angled under the grille for optimum performance as Main and/or Surround, Rear, Height speakers in a high-quality in-ceiling home theater and music system. The Invisa MPX, with its advanced spaciousness and dispersion, is perfect for in-wall Main or Surround use. All four systems have complex multi-element crossovers to precisely blend the drivers for seamless, exquisitely natural sound quality.

Invisa 525 and 650

Invisa 525 and Invisa 650 Overview

The 525 and 650 are designed for in-ceiling and in-wall use. Solidly constructed of a marble-infused polymer, the unitized structure actually has the extraordinary high-definition wide-dispersion driver built as an integral part of the frame/flange construction in order to minimize their footprint. The driver motor structures and cone/voice coil assemblies (5.25" in the 525 and 6.5" in the 650) are based on those utilized in GoldenEar’s Triton and Aon speakers. Of course, both also incorporate the GoldenEar High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) tweeter and a complex crossover to perfectly blend the drivers for superb performance.

The 525s and 650s come standard with a round, paintable MagneLock™ grille and there is an optional square grille available. Special attention has been given to achieving wide sonic dispersion that is so important in distributed audio systems. The tweeters twist and pivot to optimize performance and a high-frequency equalization switch allows precise matching to any environment. Click here to read the Brochure.

Invisa SP 652 Overview

Similar to the Invisa 650, the Invisa SP 652 is a very versatile all-in-one stereo speaker, which, when both channels are paralleled, also makes a great bipolar surround speaker as well as an in-ceiling Atmos height speaker. Solidly constructed of a marble-infused polymer, the unitized construction actually has the high-definition wide-dispersion dual-wound voice-coil 6-1/2” driver constructed as an integral part, with clear performance advantages. Special care has been taken to minimize deleterious diffraction effects that are common in many other stereo speakers that sink the drivers deeply into the structure. The two superb, but costly, HVFR™ tweeters are mounted in a special acoustically optimized high-frequency pod with a precisely calculated angle to maximize stereo coverage and radiation into the room. It is unique to find tweeters of this quality in single point stereo speakers. Two complex crossovers incorporating the highest quality components are utilized to precisely blend the drivers for seamless exquisite sound quality. A specially contoured santoprene anti-resonance/diffraction-control ring is incorporated around the driver and covering the surrounds to further optimize performance. There is also a high-frequency equalization switch to precisely match the SP 652 to any environment. Click here to read the Brochure.

Invisa HTR 7000

Invisa HTR 7000 Overview

The Invisa Home Theater Reference 7000 is designed for use as a ceiling-mounted main front stage left, right, or center speaker in high-quality home theater or music systems, as well as for use as a side or rear surround speaker. In many installations it is also perfect as a height channel speaker. It has a flat, round, magnetically attached micro-perf grille that covers the mounting flange for an attractive, nearly “invisible” look. The drivers are mounted at precisely calculated angles so that they face the normal listening position for exceptional imaging, superior frequency response, remarkable clarity and precise focus. The driver complement combines the same superb 7" high-definition cast-basket driver used in the acclaimed Aon 3, with one of GoldenEar’s signature technology HVFR™ tweeters. A complex crossover network, with a high-frequency equalization switch, assures perfect blending. In order to achieve open, boxless, three-dimensional imaging that appears to come from across the front wall rather than the ceiling, great care has been taken to minimize deleterious diffraction effects as well as to optimize wave-launch into the room. This is achieved by utilizing and combining our FocusField™ Technology with a unique Non-Periodic Waveform (NPW) Diffraction Control and Wave-Launch construction. Click here to read the Brochure.

Invisa HTR 7000

Invisa MPX

Invisa MPX Overview

The Invisa MPX MultiPolar In-Wall/In-Ceiling Loudspeaker combines the advantages of a direct-radiating loudspeaker with the enhanced spaciousness and dispersion of a bipolar speaker. This makes them the perfect choice for the rear or side surround channels of a multi-channel installation, as well as for front main speakers or for distributed audio multi-room installations. It can be easily mounted in walls or ceilings and is very flexible in terms of orientation.  Like the other Invisa Series speakers, it has a flat magnetically attached micro-perf grille that covers the flange for an attractive, nearly invisible look. It combines two precisely angled spiderleg cast-basket 5" bass/midrange drivers, a High-Velocity Folded Ribbon Tweeter (HVFR™) and a complex precision crossover network with a high-frequency equalization switch. Like the Invisa HTR 7000, it features GoldenEar’s unique Non-Periodic Diffraction Control and Wave-Launch technology for enhanced clarity and source-less sound radiation into the room.Click here to read the Brochure.
